Very First Car
It's sitting downstairs in the parking lot right now. My brand new dark green 1997 Volvo 850. I closed the deal on her today, and so as of 4pm this afternoon, she's mine. I own a car.
Its too unreal to fully comprehend. Right after I paid for her I just got into the driver's seat and sat there for a full ten minutes, letting everything sink in.
She's mine. My car. My first car.
At this point, I can barely drive it. But that's irrelevant. What matters is that I have a permit. And now I have a car. And sooner rather than later I will know how to drive my car.
This is awesome.
